Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-09-30
These terms are an agreement between you and Reev Tech Inc. (“Footlog”, “we”, “us”) for using the Footlog app, the Footlog Telegram bot, and footlog.app (together, “Footlog”). By creating an account or using Footlog you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Footlog.
1. Who can use Footlog
You must be at least 13 years old, or older where your country requires it, and able to agree to these terms. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping access to your Apple, Google, or Telegram sign-in secure.
2. What Footlog does
Footlog is an organising tool for recreational soccer groups: attendance polls, team selection, results, stats, club chat, and a ledger of fees owed to a club. Footlog does not organise, supervise, or insure games, and is not responsible for venues, bookings, or what happens on the pitch. Soccer is a physical activity; you take part at your own risk.
Footlog does not process payments between players and clubs. Fee tracking is a record kept by your club’s admins. Any money changes hands outside Footlog, and disputes about it are between you and your club.
3. Clubs and admins
Club admins decide who is in their club, set its rules and fees, and can record notes, marks, results, and payments about members. Admins must use that access only to run the club, and must have a lawful basis to add other people’s information. A club’s paid plan belongs to the account of the admin who owns the club.
4. Subscriptions
Some features need a paid plan (such as Club or Pro). Plans are sold as auto-renewing subscriptions through the Apple App Store or Google Play, and are billed by Apple or Google to your store account at confirmation of purchase. The price and billing period are shown by the store before you buy.
- A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the period ends. Your store account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your store settings: on iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future renewals; the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for.
- Deleting your Footlog account or the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; we cannot issue refunds for store purchases ourselves.
- If a subscription ends, paid features stop, but your club and its history remain available on the free plan within its limits.
- If we change prices, the store will notify you as its rules require before the new price applies.
5. Your content
You keep ownership of what you post: chat messages, images, names, badges, notes, and results (“your content”). You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, and display your content only as needed to operate Footlog for you and your club. You confirm you have the right to post it.
6. Acceptable use
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. You must not use Footlog to:
- harass, bully, threaten, or intimidate anyone;
- post hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise objectionable content;
- share other people’s private information or images without permission;
- impersonate anyone, spam, or mislead other members;
- break the law or infringe anyone’s rights, including intellectual property;
- interfere with, probe, scrape, or overload Footlog, or get around its limits or plan restrictions.
7. Reporting and enforcement
If you see content or behaviour that breaks these terms, report it in the app (press and hold a chat message, or use the menu on a player’s profile or an Explore game) or by emailing support@footlog.app with the club and a description. You can also block another member so you no longer see their messages. Club admins can remove messages and members in their club. We review reports promptly, aiming to act within 24 hours, and may remove content, remove users from clubs, or suspend or close accounts that break these terms, with or without notice.
8. Third-party services
Footlog relies on services such as Apple, Google, and Telegram for sign-in, notifications, purchases, and the Telegram bot. Your use of those services is also governed by their own terms.
9. Apple App Store terms
If you downloaded Footlog from the Apple App Store, Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to your use of the app, and these terms add to it. If they conflict for the iOS app, Apple’s agreement applies. You acknowledge that these terms are between you and Footlog, not Apple; that Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app; that Footlog, not Apple, is responsible for the app and for any claims relating to it; and that Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
10. Ending your account
You can stop using Footlog and delete your account at any time in the app under Settings → Delete account. What happens to your data is described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or end access to Footlog if you break these terms or if we stop offering the service.
11. Disclaimers
Footlog is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, express or implied, including of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, and we do not promise that Footlog will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that stats, balances, or schedules will always be accurate. Check anything important with your club.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Footlog is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of Footlog. Our total liability for any claim relating to Footlog is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for Footlog in the 12 months before the claim and CAD $50. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be waived.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date above and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. Continuing to use Footlog after that means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and disputes will be heard in the courts of Ontario, unless the consumer law of where you live gives you the right to bring claims there.
